The nude is something I approach gently.  I strive to create a deep sensuality in my nude photographs- sometimes dancing on the edges of erotica, without making a commitment to it.  Much of my work goes to the themes of innocence, beauty, and youthful sensuality- a difficult area to work within and keep the viewer "on message" and not draw condemnations of lasciviousness.  Towards this end, I find myself often borrowing the ideas of the "Old Masters" who painted nudes without the pubis- the great majority of my images stay within the realm of the "semi-nude", exposing most of the model's body, but usually keeping her nether regions hidden from view.  That said, there are times when an image demands a fully nude body to be "right".  Here are some such examples.  In these cases I strive to compose the image in a manner that puts the beauty of the entire body first, even when the message is erotic in nature.
